he has a nice artifact detector app that works regardless of card type as long as it is DX8 and above.

Aside from that, run every game you can come up with. Some games don't stress certain parts of the card as much. I can run everything but Serious Sam @ 220/200 on my G2MX. 3dmark 2001 shows up perfect, but Serious Sam gets white specs from memory speeds too high. Every other game worked fine, but the card still had errors that didn't show up.
