Hey everyone! Sorry if a thread has been posted on this already, but I'm trying to watch the Purdue vs Wisconsin game, so I don't want to search the forum... lol :D

ANYWAYS! A lot of people have been hitting over 600/600 on their x800xts, and I'd like to do the same! is there an effective watercooling solution for only my GPU? i'm talking for like $70 or less ;) whether I have to do it myself or not is fine, I'm willing to learn! just looking for some advice/pointers and if it is feasible, then recommend me some products?

Thanks a ton!

if you are willing to spend $70, why not save up another $30-40 to get the GPU/memory blocks?

I think he means an entire system for $70. Just not CPU/chipset blocks.
So pump, radiator, fans, tubing, GPU waterblock...

I don't' think you're gonna have much luck with that. You MIGHT be able to find some cheap no-name pump, and a crappy radiator. But you're going to have to pay a decent price for a waterblock that isn't a POS and will not leak.

I would think it's gonna cost you more like $110-130 minimum. For good parts, more like $150 without the CPU & chipset blocks or reservoir.

so basically i could spend $200 and just watercool the CPU too? damn, i was hoping to have a better option than the ATI Silencer, but I don't want to spend over $100

You should have put that $70 on Purdue today huh? Or better yet... the Hurricanes. Ask anyone from the southeast... you can't stop a hurricane. ;)

About the water cooling situation, it's going to cost you over a hundred bucks but it will probably be worth it.

Purdue lost at the end 20-17 :( it was a bad day indeed

good thing i sold my ticket for a heft profit... maybe if i sell next week's ticket i can afford watercooling :D but i just spent like $50 on air products!!! Xp-90 and a fan!

Well, off to ebay you go then. :p

The new mountain bike I ordered came in, and I picked it up today. Neeless to say, I wont be getting watercooling any time soon. I'm gonna get my case ready for it though. :)
