Is there any way I can set the memory voltage on my GPU? Like through RBE? The only voltage I seem to be able to set through RBE and Afterburner is the core.

I would like to see if a different memory voltage can help stabilize one of my cards, which has been giving me trouble lately.
 
Dont believe I've seen any easy front-ends like Afterburner or Saph's Trixxx supporting that kind of feature. Although, I'd be very careful - if I recall correctly, that was what killed a ton of early 6950 flashes that just put a 6970 bios on them.
 
Yup, I think you're right. I actually wanted to try to lower the voltage a tiny bit on one of my cards, since it's acting strangely. And I think it was the brief unlock to a 6970 it had in it's early days. /sigh.

If I could just simply still get a 6950 reference card, I'd probably buy that.

Ouch, that's sad to hear about the previous flash. From what I remember, those people that ran into that problem were stuck rma'ing the boards (assuming the company was accepting of it) b/c they were irreversibly damaged. Finding the reference boards is difficult it seems - I couldn't find a matching one for my XFX board, and I'm unfortunately a little too anal about matching, so bought two different cards for xfire, and now am selling the XFX reference.

Let us know how it turns out!

I'm thankful I don't have to pull out the soldering iron (that much) anymore. I always hated worrying about screwing it up.
