I have an old repurposed gaming rig that I use as a workstation for development. Need to replace the card in it and was looking for something AMD since it is running Linux. I don’t need any real graphics horsepower just something that can run 3x1440p at 60hz. Possibly updating one of them to 4K in the future. Anyone have some recommendations be it new or used cards to look out for?

If you don't need to do anything like gaming or 3dCAD, etc, an rx480/580 (or similar) would probably be fine. If getting something more modern, you could probably drop down to a lower tier card easily, as long as it has sufficient memory and outputs.

Thanks for the recommendation will check them out!

just as a note, i run an RX6800 under linux as my main rig for 2 years now and never had any issues, and I game fine also.
