Hi all,

I have an 8700m GT and a Nvidia 9200 (work machine). Would it be worth running these 2 for a significant PPD boost?

they are good for about 900-1000 PPD each if you run the gpu3 client instead of the gpu2 client. on the gpu2 client they definitely wont finish the larger WU's on time. even on the gpu3 client it might be close since each WU takes double the amount of time as the gpu2 WU's but they have a much longer deadline.
 
Thanks for all the responses. So i tried on the 9200 it won't even run. When i get home i'll try the 8700M.
 
One last question, sorry for the noobness, this is all new to me.

Can i or should i run the GPU and CPU client at once? Or would it be more efficient to run just one of the clients?

You can run them simultaneously. Whether or not you should depends on your specific hardware setup.
