GPU/CPU compatability

Quick question, if buying an AMD processor, would buying an AMD produced video card (ATI) produce better results than an equally performing Nvidia?

If anything the AMD CPU will not liberate the best performance from fast gfx cards.

We must find some way to get a Tegra to support a HD4870X2 and a GTX 295 in order to test this theory.
