You only need one copy of the program folder and four copies of the data folder.

Does one client by itself fold keeps folding or does it hang ??
If it keeps folding then the multiple program folders could be messing the clients up.
So in the shortcuts you start the clients with change the target box so they all point to the same program folders.
Each "Start In" box wants to point to a unique data folder.

Edit:- Time warp post due to new [H] servers.
See Here.

Luck .............. :D

Hey Everyone,

I finally got my 4 GPU box up and running and... Well, of course, FAH mon is reporting that all the clients eventually hang... I haven't gotten a single WU through yet... They all stall before 20%. I can manually restart them and they fold for a bit longer, then they hang again.

For starters: My setup.

4x 8800GS's all installed with the 178.13 drivers (with the PhysX package).
They're all watercooled, with a maximum core temperature of 51c.
They're all underclocked to 580/1450/700.
I have rivatuner installed...

Now, that's about all I know... I really don't know why they're hanging, but they seem to be working really well for a few minutes before they die.

I've installed 4 systray versions of the GPU2 client, all with seperate directories in both the Program Files folder and the Application data folder... MACH ID's and the -gpu X flags are set in the client's config.

Another interesting bit of info is that, in FAHmon, one of the clients is set to team number 0 with no username... Even though the config file and control panel for the client says otherwise. Wtf?

Is there a console version of GPU2 that I should be using instead of the systray one?

OK... Starting to get some progress here. Turns out it's just FAHmon reporting a hang because of the time difference between the two systems... But, alas, I just can't get the FAH cores to recognize the current time set on the computer...

For example, my FAH GPU client 0 think's it's 5:45am (it's 10:36am) even after I set the correct time in Windows, restarted everything etc. Eh, I'm getting 4500 ppd per client as it stands right now, so I don't really care if FAHmon is being a bastard :).

Gotta overclock to hit the big 1700 shaders :p.

The time in the fah logs is all in UTC so that's normal. The key for Fahmon to work correctly is that the time on all the computers, including the one where Fahmon is installed must be synchronised correctly.

If it's UTC it's even more wrong  The client think's it's around 7am, It's 2pm UTC!!!

But, yes, the clocks on all the folding systems are synchronized almost to the second (using the Windows time server of course) and I've even tried setting it to ignore async clocks in the options...
