GPU client running in a VM?

I know the CPU clients (SMP, etc) can be run inside of a virtual machine. I was just wondering, can the GPU client be run this way as well? My sister has an iMac she doesn't really use after she got a new laptop, but the GPU client doesn't exist for OSX yet. I was wondering if I could install a windows VM to make use of the 2600 pro in there.

(Boot camping it and running it on windows isn't really an option right now)
 
Not possible that I've seen. VM uses a "standard" video driver/emulator so doesn't recognize a particular type of card.
