GPU Cabling Help needed

I have a GTX 690 and i need some help to install the cables, the GPU come with two cable sluts and also two red cables, i know that i can insert the black power cables directly into GPU, however, i want to know if i can use those red cables. I've took a picture of my current installation. the second cable is setup the same way. are they correct?

Don't mess with the wiring, keep them normal. 2x4 and 2x4,

Don't put that like 1x2 there, it's meant to be beside the 2x3 to make a 2x4 PCIe connector.

you can repin the red cables. But in the current setup that is not a good idea.
