Has anyone got something in the 80's or 90's? I can't wait to try when I get back home.

According to this - high is bad and low is good - if anything.

My RTX 5080 AORUS MASTER (33.3%) and RTX 5090 SUPRIM (62.4%), attached.

EDIT: fixed link - thanks erek

I feel like cards that are above failing grades probably go to datacenters lol

This is a PNY RTX 5080 OC flashed to a ASUS Astral vBIOS. Not sure if that has anything to do with the ASIC %.

My Zotac 5080 Solid Core OC.
This is the smaller 2.5-ish slot 5080 from Zotac. Still has a 3 slot bracket, though.

What is this number? How is it measured?
Not sure, but the thought is that lower = better overclocking with regular cooling (more efficient). Higher = better overclocking with better cooling and higher voltages (higher overclocking headroom). So, unless you're going watercooling and increasing voltages for higher overclocks, you'll want a lower ASIC. What I don't get with that is wouldn't the more efficient chip always have better overclocking headroom?

Same card here, but stock vBIOS. From the little undervolting/OC'ing I've done, it has been good so far; running a mild .9v @ 2.9 GHz core for now and haven't tried to push any higher yet. It generally runs around 55-60C while gaming, compared to 60-65C at stock settings.

Just curious, what's the power draw at load? Does it get under 300W?

Just checked and I'm seeing between 210-230W (saw an initial spike to 265W though) while playing Doom Dark Ages at near 100% GPU utilization. This is while staying around 2865MHz and .9mv and 52C in my new HAF II 500 case I just now got it swapped over to from my old HAF X which ran it a few degrees warmer.

I haven't tried to push it any higher at that mV yet. It's been super stable in all my games so far at that and haven't really cared to push it much further, but I may play around with it some more soon.

That's still pretty dang good. How much of a performance difference from stock with it undervolted? I'm thinking it'll still beat a good overclocked RTX 5070 Ti.

It's running at the same clocks it was stock, just 10C+ cooler and about maybe 80W less. I'll see if it can clock a bit higher this weekend I guess.

Since I'm running CachyOS & not Windows, I had to pull up the raw data & asked Gemini to give an estimate. Pretty informative, though it'd be great if there was a tool that did so.
HWiFO doesn't report AMD Radeon card ASIC qualities either.
