i have a EVGA e-GeForce 6600 GT 128MB AGP card, and i decided im tired of buying new vid cards because of overheating and whatnot. however i can find any aftermarket vans for this guy.
if anyone knows where i should look other than arctic-cooling and coolerguys.
i found this one, but it says PCIe and a friend thinks that the fan is on the wrong side for mine.
" looks like on the AGP card the fan is closer to the connectors, whereas on the PCIE card it's closer to the other end"

it LOOKS like its right, the fan gets air from the right and blows it over the card and out the back. but really i have no clue.

and help would be awesome.

maybe Zalman?

i have a VF700Cu on my BFG 6600GT PCIe and it works great. it makes no noise, no, i'm serious. in the lowest voltage connector, you cannot honestly not hear it. keeps temps cool, i overclock the shit out of my card and keep the fan on lowest voltage and it still remains under 70C and my entire computer is utterly silent. that's becoming a thing for me: silent pc gaming, and i love it. :)

your best bets are either the arctic cooling silencer or the vf700-cu.

I've had both and in the end prefer the vf700-cu because it performs far better. A word of warning: both zalman and arctic cooling are releasing new iterations of their coolers soon, so you might want to hold off if you'd like to see how they perform.

i actually found and ordered the Zalman before coming back here =\
but thanks for the help and i hope youre right!

The Zalman is a great cooler. I liked the two I had, but there were clearance issues with having two of them installed in SLi mode on some motherboards. So after the fan failed on the second card, I removed them and went back to the stock coolers. They did cut my temps down quite a bit though.
