Got two ASUS VS229, one has a defect

I got a ASUS VS229 and I like it. So I got a second one. (both from NewEgg). The second one has a black dot on the screen near the center of the lower left quadrant. It looked at first like a spec of dust, but it isn't, it's actually in the screen. It doesn't look like any dead pixel I've ever seen, just a black spec.

Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether to exchange it or just return it and get something else. Having the two identical 21.5" VS229 monitors in my dual monitor set up is nice. But I don't absolutely need for the two monitors to be the identical model. In my setup I have one centered in front of me, and the other off to the right side. So they could be two different models, or even two different sizes. (I was considering a 17" as a side monitor for a while but couldn't find any with wide viewing angles)

I also have a 21.5" LG IPS226V which I've tried using next to the ASUS. But the LG is a bit brighter and has better color, so it makes the ASUS not look so good when it's right next to it. But the two ASUS next to each other looks fine to me. :)

Anyone have a LG IPS225T-BN? Any other suggestions?
