I just picked up a Velodyne VA-1012 sub for cheap money.
It has a 10inch active woofer and 12 inch radiator, around 65 watts. It is several years old but this thing rocks. It is way over kill for my little room. My wife is soooooo pissed right now, will not even talk to me. Heh heh.
 
Is that like one of those B&W subs? If yeah, those things do sound very nice. I'm not one for home audio, more so cars.

As for the wife situation, just gotta say 1 thing: Happy wife, Happy life.:D
