Do not go ahead and apply it if your already in a bad mood
After reading the complaints about it I have to say it really is a bit annoying to work with, I think I made matters worse by doing in a cool room near an open window about 65F probably made it more silly puddy like.
Since I was already annoyed before attempting the application I just ended up putting 2 lines on the cpu and filling in the direct contact heatpiped a bit and then clamped it down.
I read one of the best ways was to apply a thin smooth layer but so far my temps look good so may not bother giving it another try.
