Ok I have a few questions.
1)I can't get my internet connections set up. I've added new connections and set it up that way I it won't connect. I'm on cable with a modem box. Any ideas??

2)Idle temps are staying around 40C...this is abnormally high isn't it for a winchester core.

3)I'm loading into windows slow. I mean it's not taking a long time but my 2600xp is loading it quicker.

4) I need a program that'll let me raise my memory speed while in windows. Can you recommend me one?
 
umm for the cable modem one did you reset you reset it? you gotta reset the modem... i think, i believe thats just if you change an ip address
 
When you set up a new connection did you put all the local information in? How you dial an outside line, what country you are in etc. I remember I couldn't get my cable working and it was just because of that. Something i completely forgot.
