So, I went out and got myself a new tv. The 46" Panasonic Plasma TH-46PZ80U
1080p, 480hz 20,000-1 true contrast 1,000,000 dynamic. Its a great tv. And to boot the thing was $700 @ $999 down from $1699.99. Thats below employee price at best buy.
Before this I just bought a 40" toshiba 1080 lcd. Its nothin great but it was only $600. But its nothing compared to the panasonic. So the tosh is goin back.
I will be using the panasonic as a secondary display for media purposes and maybe a little gaming on it for the fun of it. Its gona be a couple weeks before it gets delivered, Im already counting the days though.
