Got my XT PE back today.

HMMM..."it still works fine"

and why are they gonna replace it.? cause you can't overclock as high? lol.....

anyways...there is a chance they might send you back a x800 pro non vivo.."might" but do you really need the extra OVERCLOCK? and how much is not overclocking as high? 10-20mhz? is so..that is nothing to care about..

And how did you notice that chip? By swapping the HSF?

More to the point, how did it get chipped? By yanking the HSF...

I've had problems with most of my electronics in this house. My TV went out on me awhile back, my Xbox is all screwed up, etc..... I talked to an electrician about it. Apparently my problem is common with people living in old houses. The wiring isn't up to modern standards.

My high 3dmark05 score was easy to get. A64@2.7ghz, 2x512mb TCCD RAM DDR540@1T-2.5-3-3-7, vid card at 565/590.

Very easy at those speeds.
 
They replaced mine. It went 3 lower on core clock and 9 higher on mem clock....with stock cooling. John has yet to put on the new TEC and do any vmods. HE just checks the stock oc before anything.

Well, i just turned on my pc after almost 3 weeks of it being off :D

My core running good, but my ram seems to be giving out. For more info on my problem please go here http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=870935 and I am thinking about voltmodding too. Any idea's or comment please reply in post above :D

Before I did want to RMA my card, but hearing i might not get a vivo back with 1.6 ram kinda worries me. So i rather keep my card and try to help here live :D

Video card is water cooled with a MCW50 on the GPU and Monster Ramsinks on the ram with 2x120mm panaflow ultra's blowing on side panel.
