Got my x800xt, is my score right?

I did a fresh install of windows, got all new drivers/updates and stuff.

Running on a stock Athlon XP 2800+ with 1 gig corsair xms ram running sync with fsb at 2-2-2-5 timings. And the x800xt is running stock speeds.

I get 9353 on 3dmark03 <---- http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=2670986

And 17724 on 3dmark01 <--- http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7916025

I thought I would get more but I guess my cpu is really holding me back, thing is though somone with basicly the same setup but a 6800 ultra gets 11 somthing k on 03. I thought the xt was better, its better in games right? Just the 6800 beats it in 03? Cause I dont care if 6800 only beats it in benchmarks. Real performence is what matters. Kinda makes me wish I got the 6800 ultra though sinse it was what I was planing on getting in the first place.

also this may sound a bit to ask but if anyone has a x800xt and athlon xp system could you downclock your cpu to 2800+ speeds ( 12.5 x 166 ) and see what you get in 01 or 03 3dmark?

What kind of cooling? Try the volt mod it really opens these cards up. Also try upping the fsb.
 
I got a old 1.4 rev board so I cant o/c my cpu, I cant even do 175fsb so I just leave it stock.

my cpu already bottlenecks the card enough so I think stock speeds is fine for the card.
 
For one thing, your running 4.5 cats, try the 4.6s I think you'll score a little higher.
