I can't take any pictures of it yet b/c the wife broke the camera. It is Revision A03 Made in Mexico and the coding from the service menu is V1B18 RT803. Looks like it is the S-IPS Panel I was hoping for. I can't believe how clear the picture is and it's funny to see what blacks look like compared to the crap of my old monitor (LG L1720P). I have a no dead pixels and a little bit of back light bleed from the upper left corner, it's about 2" wide and goes down for about 1". Is it worth replacing the monitor for the backlight bleed?
What would be a good affordable way to calibrate this monitor for colors? Also, is there a way to turn off the DVI icon in the upper left corner that shows up when the screen refreshes? It only stays on for about 2-3 seconds and goes away, but it is kind of annoying.
