Got BSOD BugCode_USB_driver when a USB mouse is connect to a laptop

[Happy Hopping]

On a 2 year old HP laptop PC, we try to connect 2 different wireless mouse to any of the USB port on the laptop, there is no response, win 7 didn't detect the mouse

So I now use a wired Microsoft USB Mouse to the laptop, and there is no (red infrared) light on the bottom of the mouse. (any USB port)

As the PC shut down, I got BSOD w/ the error BUGCode_USB_driver

nothing really useful so far on the internet:

There is no way all the USB port are all dead. Any idea?

I fix the above, however, the soln. is to remove AVAST. Just like the below link, it seems to be quite a serious bug
