So my hardrive about to die last week.. I decided to try to back up the most important files...and I backed it all up on 3 dvds.. but now.. when I tried to transfer it on to my new computer.. see the thing is that the dvds takes forever to load up... and it makes such a loud noise... it does start the transfering process... but it always on random times.. keeps saying.. cannot copy so and so track.. data error (cyclic redundancy check) .. so what does that mean.. and whats going on.... dang it.. :(

^^^ true true

Only time I've had that problem with my dvd's was when trying to burn at max speed of my drive. Alot of media just can't handle it.
