all compatible? good deal? any suggestions?

my edit: first time building a comp so if im missing anything or i have two of anything please tell me :)

Wow. No offence but this is one heck of a mess. Let's clean up the case thing first
1. Don't buy barebones cases/systems because they are usually cheap, get a better case with a decent/reliable Power supply
2.Intel is not the way to go, buy an Athlon 64 2800+ with the Chaintech board, both are excellent buys and speedy.
3. Are you doing any gaming or editing?

There, fixed some major issues for the same price, it should be a better computer.

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80179-R CPU $155.00
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240413 MOBO $73.00
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=101206-315006-1 HDD $69.00

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=321902 VIDEO CARD $299.99

$735 american would recommend this setup use old mouse, keyboard and speakers till you get 80 more dollars will be good for at leat 1.5 years for gaming other one wouldnt run most games know

^^^^^ Much much better setup. If you want to go cheaper, a 9800pro is good too. That 9200se card you listed is one of the slowest cards out.

Well for one that Intel processor you have won't work with that AMD motherboard.

Mhz isnt everything. Check out the reviews on the Athlon 64. its a lot faster than the P4. As for hard drive, I agree. The seagate in your first post looks great.

the cpu will last 1.5 years the video card well over 2 you dont have to go with the setup I put just an option

Mhz isn't everything, hence a 2.4ghz A64 can kill a 3.0ghz P4. Athlons have shorter pipelines, so work is done faster every clock. How long a computer will last you is a relative figure of speech. The computer I built in July (Rig #1 in my sig) will last me a good 3 years when I upgrade my video card. To some people, my computer is crap and it isn't even good enough for the present times. So how long it will last you is your decision, no one else's.

alright..... ive been looking around and i think im going to go with this:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=321902 video card 299.99

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80699-R cpu:172.00

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=240415 mobo: 80.00
Seagate 120GB SATA
Seagate's Barracuda ATA V with Serial ATA Interface leverages the mechanics of the industry's quietest 7200 rpm desktop drive. 141.99 my original hdd.

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80097-6 memory 129.99

gunna use my old mouse keyboard and monitor, probly gunna get a new case and power supply.

there we go... 750. compatible? suggestions?

OK! bit more then 750.. around 900... ill work a couple more weeks :) still need suggestions though

Spend an extra $34 and get the Athlon 64 3000+ and the Asus K8V-X and you'll be alot better off in the long run, especially when you team that combo with the 6800.

Personally I would not buy that expensive memory, I'd find some that was cheaper and get a full gig of it. Fast memory doesn't do any good when you start swapping out to the drive.

As for the 1.5yr lifespan, depends on what you find acceptable performance wise, if you want cutting edge figure on less lifespan than that. However if all you want is to surf and email then it's overkill.

*Edit
Stay with the 6800, it will be much faster than the 9800, the extra $20 is worth it in this case

Yes, ATI was better last generation, but NVidia is back. The lowest 6800 will kill any card from last gen. Plus NVidias drivers are better IMO.
