Have no idea what's going on here.
ATi's tech support closed an hour ago, and I can't get through to Velocity Micro.

Very straightforward.

Uninstalled nVidia VIDEO drivers, took out the 7600gs, put in the 3850, installed the ATi suite, restarted.

Went to play cod4... 'hey shouldn't these guns be making noise.'

: (

I've got a Velocity Micro Campus edition which is as follows:
Intel® P965 Chipset Motherboard
C2D 6300
"Intel High Definition Audio" which seems to run through something called SigmaTel.

Not getting anything from the front or back speaker ports, and yes the volume is turned up and my speakers are on... sadly.

Disregard.

ATi's drivers were trying to control the audio, and so was Intel's. Fixed.

My shit was messed up when going from the 8800GTS to HD3870's. Ended up doing a fresh installation and all is good in the hood.

Control panel>sound and audio device>audio>default device> select you sound card, not ATI HD rear audio output.
