and i'm not sure if i should open it...
see they went on sale up here for 299 cad for this week only (bba retail box) so i picked one up (they're usually 349...)

anyway with the new cards comin out at the end of the month think i should use it or wait to see if the price drops are more than $50?

i'm itching to try this out too... i think future shop takes returns on opened product within 30 days but i don't remember. cornelius you work there, any help?

edit: to clarify, what i'm asking is anyone see a price drop coming in the next 30 days or so and if so, think it'll be more than $50 canadian haha
 
I doubt it is going to drop more than 50, ATi will end its product cycle before it goes that low. Future Shop does give you 30 days on opened products, so go ahead and open it up and put that sucker to use. You will still be able to see if the price drops that much within 30 days.
 
just for a heads up, i just put my new 9800pro in today ,went from a GF3... and its freaking amazing

the card definately lives up to the hype.. my old dissapointment is the drivers.. still like the options in NVidias better, but otherwise, amazing videocard
 
nice deal, and ati is toally reworking the catalyst drivers and the interface is supposed to be dramaticly better.
