Gordian Knot problems

I used the Divx guide to try to turn a movie, that i own and want to make a back up, into a divx type or w/e. Well, when i reach the part into adding the .d2v and the audio files together, with other things, i get an error that it cannot open .avi, can any1 help me?

Ok, in simple understandable terms, in the last job of encoding something in gordian knot, i get an error that it cannot open .avi, and i dont know why. I think it's when im adding the .d2v and the .mp3 and the .avs together.
