Google Sync iPhone Outage Now?

Nope, working fine here. I also tried searching recent contacts over the air, and it's definitely not down.
 
I can search my contacts OTA fine. But the ones stored locally have all vanished.
 
I think Google has issues. I deleted and re-created the whole Exchange (Google Sync) account.

Worked fine, but nothing is syncing. I get connection failed messages too. Everything else works.
 
Yea, I went to the forums and found I'm right.

Google Sync will undergo maintenance starting at 11:00:00 PM UTC-8. Syncing for mail, contacts, and calendars will be unavailable during this time.

The new scheduled downtime is Thursday, March 4, 2010 6:30 PM UTC-8 to 9:30 PM UTC-8

Note... Changing or adding contacts (like I had done) triggers a sync. So for anyone reading this, don't change anything until tomorrow, unless you want your contacts to go bye-bye.
