News.com has posted a bunch of funny user-submitted images from Google Street View. There are some pretty cool stuff, people submitted everything from an apparent burglary in progress to dog fights in city parks.

Given that the photographers took pictures at random times in several cities, they were bound to capture some interesting shots. CNET News.com asked readers to send in their favorite images from the service, and many responded.

I don't think I understand this. It just looks like a bunch of different pictures that people took. I can go outside and in the city and take some weird pictures too.

I have never used Google Street Viewer, but it sounds like a bunch of pre-shot photos linked to the Google Maps system.

Google sent out some vans to take pictures all over some of the major cities. You can view them by going to places like San Fran or New York City and clicking on Street Views. It will give you a panoramic view of that location.

There is a street-map of the golden gate bridge. Just move the little dude around the map to see other areas.. or follow the arrows across the bridge.

They must have one incredible capturing system in place.

I wonder what will people find next.

Yeah I wonder what software they used to patch the pictures together, does a pretty good job considering the huge amount of pictures they must have captured.

I have found myself twice in San Francisco. Once in front of my office building and once at my house. haha

In the one where I am at my house, I am staring at the van.

I can totally remember seeing it go by with the cameras on top thinking, WTF is that
