Google Speakers?

Looks like it uses similar technology to the Mirage Omni series. Using the USB port for power is sorta cool because you don't need a wall wart and when the computer sleeps it effectivly powers off the speakers (at least if its plugged into a Mac like shamelessly shown at the Google store). The bad part is that your limited to only 5V, which means low power. However if the thing lacks bass like I'd assume it would I guess you can get some loud noise out of it.


Personally having a Google brandname on something is kinda :confused: to me. One speaker is also sooo 1960's, I'd check other options.
