Google Messages for Web?

So, no more QR code. Why, it always worked fine? All I get now is

• On your phone, open Google Messages
• Sign in to your Google Account in Messages on your phone
• Come back and refresh this page if it hasn't updated

Where & when we sign in on the computer, it could send the phone a notification.

Nevermind bug??? I scanned the QR code yesterday & that is what popped up. The odd thing is it wanted me to log into my account on the app on the phone. The thing is my phone was logged in, no idea what it meant. Today the QR code worked fine, not sure what the issue was...
