Google is definitely serious about rooting out bugs in its programs, so much so that the company has bumped up the reward again for specific vulnerabilities making it more than enough to grab researcher’s attention and increase the time spent looking for new vulnerabilities.

Google has been progressively increasing its bug bounties over the past few years, such as quintupling its maximum bounty possible in April last year, and increasing cash incentives for its Chromium vulnerability rewards program later in August.

I love their program, I reported a bug on Google Reader in March, and they told me there will be a drastic fix for it on July 1st. ;)
