Google Earth 5.0

[HardOCP News]

Google Earth 5.0 is now out. There are new features that allow you to explore the ocean and ocean floors as well as view historical imagery from around the globe. Download the 1MB installer and see what all the fuss is about.

Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places, and share with others.

Ahh hey, I found Jimmy Hoffa wearing clown shoes

Funny and ironic thing happened while installing Google Earth 5. I did it using Chrome and after starting my download, the browser shows a page that includes a Google Earth Plugin for your browser. Funny thing is that Google Chrome is not yet supported by Google Earth Plugin! May the Google Civil Wars commence!

I'm still waiting for Google to update the actual terrain... Looking at my neighborhood from Google Earth, there's a bunch of empty lots, but they built houses there years ago.

If you find an an empty area where there should be boats in the San Fran Bay, that's Atlantis.
