Google calendar sync problem on iPhone

I have my google calendar synced with the native iPhone calendar app. I can see all my appointments that I add to the calendar from my various computers, however I never get an alarms for the appointments on my phone. Instead the only alarms I get are ones that I make on the phone, yet these appointment don't show up on my computers.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any way to fix this so my alarms go off and events I add on the phone appear on my Google calendar?
