Good wireless headset ($200.00 budget)

Looking for a nice wireless headset for music, movies and Skype. I want long range that will work through walls around my house. Any recommendations for something good sounding that will work for me? Thanks!
 
FYI wireless is a balancing act between a few things:

weight
audio quality
battery life

And it's pretty much a "pick two" situation.

There are some Sennheiser models that I would start with. You want RF not infrared, but even then "through walls" operation will be a bit limited.
 
After looking around for a while, it seems as if wireless headsets are pretty low quality. Is there something better out there if I raise my budget?
 
Wireless faces the problem that the drivers on your head need current. If there are no wires, it has to come strictly from batteries...which means that you're both wearing batteries on your head and limited by their capacity. Add to that, most companies setting out to make better audio gear see the current issue and decide to put more work into something with wires on. Thus why it's probably going to be uncomfortably heavy with a short battery life...and still not have that great of quality.

If you need wireless, get wireless. If you don't really...avoid it.
