Good water cooling cases

Silverstone TJ07, Lian Li V2000 with the bay mount (assuming you don't need room for more than 3 hard drives)...
 
Like so, and from looking at it, I don't think you can fit any hard drives in either case's lower chamber with a triple rad installed...
 
Rocketfish from bestbuy if you can find one. Mines in the top. Look at sig for pics
 
Cosmos S can fit a triple rad at the top (except for thermochills which require some modding).

It won't fit a SLI setup with the rad, though, as it's rATX. Just a heads-up to the OP there.

Same with the V2000B with a rad in the top -- you can fit a 2x120 with a SLI setup (I have) but not a 3x120. You lose the top two 5 1/4" bays, too.
 
Cosmos 1000, I have a 3x120 on the roof (with very minor cutting) + 1x120 on the back side.
The case is huge, people have issues with no air flow through the case but i have not had these problems.
 
If you want the king for it, Mountain Mods. UFO2 or Ascension. The latter allows upto 3 360 radioators for the overrkill multi-loop.

At the cost of a boatload of ugly. Of course, aesthetics are a great deal personal preference, I'll admit that.

I was recommending it out of practicality. Personally I like the look (again all about preferences). But it is great to work in, especially when you are doing multiple loops. I've had one almost 2 years now and I love it. I'll probably go Ascension in the next 2 months for my loop rebuild when the 9900's come out.

My cosmos 1000 was much easier to work with than my Thermaltake Armor was, but both have plenty of room for mounting.
 
Cant be bothered cutting holes for a rad, needed room internally for a triple, and wanted something that looks nice, so went with a Chenbro. Love their cases.

i had alot of luck with my p190 SE. 2 rads and gpu cpu all in doors. No external anything.

I was able to fit a 2x120 rad up ther and another 2x120 rad using the rad box at the back for my cpu, 2x gpu loop. I was able to do this without any modifications to the case and the case only cost 80bucks. I dictched my p180 for this and i aint looking back neither..

Could you post pictures and a description of how you did your P190 water cooling build?

I have a P190 case and am considering water cooling (newbie at this).
I'll have 3 5.25" bays available, but will probably need the internal lower & mid chambers
for HDs.

While pretty cool, $360 for a case is ridiculous, imho.

I like the Cosmos S, personally. 3x120 + 1x120, plus plenty of size and air-cooling all sound good to me and they can be had for $240 or less. Check for the upcoming revision.

The best case, period... The MOUNTAIN MODS Ascention (ie. Big Daddy Special)...

Room for (4) PA120.3, enough said... If you are able to afford $650, will probably never outgrow it. Therefore it's only a one time expense...

Remember the addage, "If you have ask how much it cost, you can't afford it."

Quit bagging products, just because you probably can't afford it...

I believe that the reason that some enthusiasts do not like it, is that it is "made" to be able to be able to easily use 4 360mm radiators. Many enthusiasts like to make something that is completely a one-off that they can claim they did all themselves.

So yes, it may be almost an end-all be-all watercooling case, but for some people, that is the reason they do not like it. However, with that said, if I had the money, I would have two or three of them myself instead of currently using a Mozart Tx right now.

The Lian-li New V series case about 60+mm between the roof of the case and the edge of the motherboard. So you can easily accommodate a mcr320 + fans and maintain the general look of the case.
Alternatively you could pick up the koolance fan shroud, and could be able to get away with at quad 120 mm such as the black ice gtx 480, or the feser 480 when ever it comes out.
And nearly any lian-li that has the psu mounted on the bottom.

Silverstone tj-09,tj-10 with a dremel.
And the tj-07 as long as you can live with less hard drive mounting options.

There are plenty, even more if you are not afraid of cutting some metal.

old thread but thought i would throw my TJ-07 up here. here is a shot w/ just the radiator in it in the beginning. This system cooled awesome even though it was a cpu, pci-e, pci-e, return loop. The huge radiator was key w/ the swiftech pump.

Many of these enthusiasts buy a lian li or a silverstone or a cooler master or an antec. Cut a hole in the top or the bottem. Maybe even paint it. There are more original movie stories coming out of Hollywood right now then the number of people on this site that have actual one-off cases. Personally, I am gonna try to make a case from scratch that will be nearly the same as the MM Ascension case, because I balked at the idea of paying $400 to $500 (not painted case) for a computer case...even though I have bought 2 different $200+ lian li's , 1 TT Mozart for I think $250+ and many Antecs in the $100+ range with the Antec 1200 recently for $170 and always grew out of it, because I have always wanted to use massive amounts of rads internally. But after going through material cost, I see that in material alone I am looking at over $300. Price out enough aluminum sheets to cover that huge ascension, enough aluminum angles to construct the frame and all the plexiglass for the windows. Don't even get into the hardware, HDD, DVD/rom cage, mobo tray or feet. See what it will cost you. I think you have a better chance of beating Dells price for sub $500 computers then you do in making a case like the MM ascension when you factor in time and material cost. Luckily, some of the expensive stuff I found I could get for free at my work , so I may still build my own, although I am not balking at their price anymore.
 
I throw a vote in for mountain mods.
You can get a brushed u2-ufo for like $260.. best one on the cheap side of MM.

get the TJ07 and be done with it, cheap case you could mod would be Stacker STK-01 cut out the bottom and replace area with aluminum plate.

Or Cosmos with some modding for more money. Otherwise Id get the TJ07 I think you can fit 2 tripples in the bottom and 2 DDC's. Or if you like big cases theres mountainmods

P.S. I dont like the mountain mods because it is huge! But if I had a nice huge room for it I might opt for that. What I would personaly like to see is something like a TJ07 only taller that can house 4 thermochill PA 120.3's or even 4 new Feser 480's (120.4s)

Personal preference, yes. "Boatload of ugly" is a bit over the top, though. I'd very much like to see what qualifies as a "pretty" computer case to YOU. ;) As far as mounting a rad, my u2 holds a pa120.3 with 6 nocs in push/pull easily.
 
Nice case Bio-Hazard! I'm pretty happy with my MM H2G0, but no triple rad for me in this case. A pair of double rads is max, and I like the footprint and horizontal orientation of the motherboard tray.

I'm wanting to build another rig and use the H2GO as well, it just wasn't out at the time I got mine. The H2GO would make for a great LAN box IMHO.............:D
 
I've been rocking my Antec Sonata I for years bought it for like $70. It's getting dated though, all the new video cards are right up on the frame rails for lower drive bays; that and it really sucks not having any room to work with.

I have a hard time swallowing the fact that to get a decent case I have to spend $200+ though; it's not like cases have an excellent resale value or anything.
 
Cosmos S s by far the best case i have ever used for water cooling. drop in a 3x120 rad without any mods and then decent wire management.. makes it look awesome and cools like a beast.

I don't think I could go back to a standard width case for water cooling, but the S is a damn fine case.
