Good tiny mosfet sinks?

I was looking at the DFI Lanparty nF4 Ultra-D thermals...and I figure maybe I'll throw some sinks on the really hot mosfets...

But a few of them are tiiiiiiiiny...~8x~6mm even...

Anyone had any good luck with any sinks in particular?...

(Also, anyone had any problems with thermal epoxy causing any problems when applied if not super careful?)

which ones are you talking about? I was under the impression the only mofsets were the ones that already had big aluminum HSs expoxied onto them.

Ok, so, one or two mosfets (pretty sure i saw one running along the "bottom" edge), and some generic chips that run hot...

Funny thing about that is that the BGA sinks would be like 3x the size of some of the chips to be cooled...heh....doesn't really matter I guess, but trying to get them on might be a pain (and to make sure don't get epoxy everywere-ish)...

Heh, yeah, those are the ones I was looking at, in fact...even still they're a little big for a couple of the locations!...lol!....but probably what I will end up going with

For something as small as mosfets it might be easier to avoid heatsinks and having to deal with thermal compound. The packaging for the electronics was designed to provide enough heat transfer so in most cases simply aiding that with a fan placed properly gets the job done.

I would go cheap and cut up an old northbridge hs.

Correct -- having a heatsink sitting ontop of the plastic cap of the MOSFET is mostly useless because they conduct their heat out of the three metal prongs that come out of the side. Sure, the plastic cap does get warm, but that's not where the heat goes.
