Good Standalone Microphone

I'm planning on buying an Audio Technica A900 because everyone I've heard from says it has a really good soundstage and is really good for gaming. But it doesn't have a microphone and I don't really like being all ghetto and having a headset resting on my neck or resting above my current headphones. I had one of those cheapo Plantronics stand microphones and while it does work, it picks up background noises to the point where my computer is louder than my voice. I have tried many different positions and despite everything I have tried, the fact of the matter is that this microphone is just crap and picks up too much background noise. Like I could activate the microphone and talk to teammates but they hear my computer more than my voice or my keyboard more than my voice. I heard it myself and it is really amazing how much background noise this microphone picks up.

Is there any good (but cheap) standalone microphone I could buy?
