I have a Barton 2500+ @ 11x200 using the retail stock HSF and my load temps go up to 54C or so. I am looking for a little extra stability during the summer heat/maybe a little better OC(can get it into windows at 2300 but unstable.) What are some coolers that people would recommend? I have been looking but haven't seen any really recent roundups. My mobo is a NF7-S in case any monster sized coolers have any problems fitting this board.

Have heard and read really good things about the Thermalright SP-97. I already have one but cant comment on it because I havent installed it. Wont fit in current case.

I have one, and it's a badass heatsink. With an ambient temperature of about 24C, my full load temperatures never exceed 40C. This is with a quiet 92mm Panaflo Medium (48cfm;30dBA). If you can afford it, this thing is one of the best Socket A heatsinks out now.

yup sp-97 does indeed rock. have one on my xp-m 2500+ running at 2.5ghz, load temps are 46C :D
