Various chips and such?

I have an old amp I'm working on fixing, the amp chip is blown and I need a replacement.

www.digikey.com and www.jameco.com (i use the latter), are great for normal chips...

you might need something a little more specific though, check out one of the sites X86Dude posted to see if you can find the exact chip you want.

or search for the part # on google..

lol I'm pretty sure newegg won't have anything close to what this guy needs. Mouser has quite a selection and they don't have a minimum order like digikey does(though I do love digikey).

true newegg wont really have anything. you could try the computer fair. i went there and got somenice parts to fix a lot of my stuff.

Where you get the part from depends on lots of things - what kind of part it is, the manufacturer, wether the part is obsolete or not, etc.

If it's a newer part, you can probably find it at Digi-key, Mouser, Allied, Arrow, Newark or one of the usual chip places... If it's obsolete, you might have better luck with an ECG or NTE catalog.

Post the part #, I'll see what I can find.
