Good PSU for the lanbox?

I just got a Thermaltake Lanbox today and I've got everything up and running nice and cool but my current powersupply (Ultra X-Connect 500W) is horrible for this setup. The wires are thick and unflexible, and not to mention, it's almost 2 years old and probably needs replacing. It's a big nasty mess inside my lanbox because of my PSU wires

Right now, I've been looking at the Corsair 520HX and the Antec NeoHE 500w. From what I hear, they're both manufactured by Seasonic. Everywhere I read, people recommend the Corsair (hell, I recommend the Corsair :D ). Now that being said, is there any reason I should choose the Corsair over the Antec? I work at Fry's and can get the Antec for about $86 vs about $100 or $110 (can't remember) for the Corsair. Are the any major differences that would make the price difference worth it?

If anyone could suggest any other good modular PSU's or any other tips for taking care of and maintaining a Lanbox rig, I'd also appreciate that.

Here's my system just in case:

Case: Thermaltake Lanbox
PSU: Ultra X-Connect 500W (UGH)
MOBO: ECS RC410L-MGF (UGH)
CPU: Pentium D 945
CPU HSF: Zalman CNPS-7700cu
Video Card: XFX 7600GS (Passively cooled)
2 HDD's (SATA)
2 Opticals (IDE)

I have the Corsair 520 and I've re-wired my Lanbox Lite about a dozen times(I'm really anal about my wiring) and it's been a breeze. I cannot give myself enough praise for buying a modular PSU. It truly makes a difference when it comes to wire management.

I swear to you, if you purchase this PSU, you will not be disappointed. I guarantee it.

Reasons you should go with the Corsair:

1. Nifty bag to carry your extra wires in.
2. Comes in black. I mean come on, it's black for god sakes, why wouldn't you buy it just because of that reason alone. :D

The fan is pretty silent.

You can always try the new X2 from Ultra. I have one and they are pretty nice.

You can also try a short cabled PSU like the one from SilverStone

If you want to do is for as little as possible. Pick up one of the x2 cable conversion kits. It'll give you all the new force flex cables you need to replace all of the old evil ones.

I have to ask... How did you get the 24pin connected? I had a tough enough time trying to do that in a mid tower when I installed those psu's before... And I can't see it bending enough to even connect in a case that small...

Or if you want to be creative, you can do what I'm going to do when I get my LanBox setup. Make custom perfect length cables. Since everything is modular on it, you can do it. It'll take a bit cash and a lot of work, but it'll look great.

Trust me, I'm a pro at bending that 20 pin cable...even in my mid tower case I had to tuck it in the unused optical bays because it was too long. Right now it's bent and it curves to the left and rests in between my two opticals....I'm probably gonna see if I can find a short replacement 20 Pin cable since the 20 pin is removable on the Ultra PSU (one thing I liked about Ultra's PSU's over everyone else's).

That conversion kit sounds like a good idea, except that I need a new PSU all together. I'm getting to a point where a HDD not in use shuts down automatically because it can't get enough power. It'll turn back on when I access it and works just fine, but I don't think that's supposed to happen to HDD's.

Are you sure your power saving options arn't turning it off after a really short time? As I can't see a reason the psu could cause that if the drive will turn back on.

When we were building the systems with those PSU's, installing the 24pin got likened to "Wrestling a Boa Constrictor" :D But I have to say I'm amazed you got it in there, got a pic?
