Good program for burning MP3 cds?(NOT plain audio cds)

Heya.

The deck in my car plays MP3 cds which is very cool, but I have been annoyed lately with the lack of functionality on burning programs.

My deck likes just the plain mp3s on the cd, no other files or it gets upset.

Now what I like to do is make my playlist in winamp, then save the .m3u playlist, and import that into MusicMatch, then burn the mp3 disk. I have been doing this for over a year, but I have run into a problem.

I lost the version of MusicMatch that worked well, and the newest version crashed whenever I open a .m3u.

Plus MusicMatch doesn't have the best interface when it comes ot pruning a playlist down to 700 megs exactly.

Nero doesn't support .m3u which means I would have to pick through manually, very lame.

Windows Media Player will read .m3u but WMP is usless. It will burn a "Data Disk" but it refuses to just put the damn files on the cd, it has to had an extra folder and a copy of the .m3u no matter what options I check. Another REALLY stupid thing is that it refuses to burn a data disk over 650 megs, it flags every file after 650 megs as "may not fit" even when the blank cd panel next to it says 700 megs free. Both versions 9 and 10 do this.

This is a shame since WMP has a very intuitive looking interface, it is great at organizing files just writing them properly is the problem.

I tried a few other programs a year ago but none that worked well.

So yeah, basically I need a program that will:

1)Read a .m3u playlist.
2)Burn a mp3/data disk without a bunch of extra B.S. files and folders.
3)Have a UI that allows me to see the size of the files and the whole playlist.

It has been a few years since I used it but I am pretty sure Easy CD Creator will create MP3 CDs from a playlist.

My thing is what's wrong with the entire drag and drop routine with Nero?
Assuming you have any kind of organized library it is not that tough.
Or should I say no less time consuming then creating a playlist?

Thanks, I will check out E CD C but I am pretty sure I tried it a while back and it didn't work right.

Main thing is saving the list, I just load up the playlist and go, and I am using the same playlists I use on a daily basis for listening. If I am listening to my ambient/experimental mp3s and I want a cd, I just import the playlist and prune off the extras, Then I can splice together different playlists also at a later time.

it is a lot less time and less clunky then messing around with nero and explorer.
