i am looking at upgrading my entertainment center and am thinkg of getting a projector what do you guys recommend for a projector?

edit: what i need to plug into it is my htpc and my entertainment compents.
 
Optoma H20 or wait for the new h30. Another one would be infocus x1 which can be had for $850 or so if you don't generally see rainbows (1x wheel only) . The entry level BENQ is also pretty nice with a $100 rebate right now (look on ebay, some guy selling them for $989 + $100 rebate).
 
If you are considering the X1 you really need to demo it (actually get a demo, go somewhere that is using it on display, or buy from a store with a liberal return policy). You want to make sure that the rainbows do not bother you, or you could end up highly annoyed (possibly with nasty headaches as well).

I am also selling my BenQ PB6100 projector (the equivalent of the X1 only it has a 3X color wheel as compared to the X1's 2X); if you are interested, contact me at malhance@uiuc.edu . It has less than 30 hours on it so it is pretty much new.
