i need some good overclocking ram for my Ultra lan party ultra d and my s939 3200 amd can anyone recommend anything good ? my budget is around 215 bucks

might be great, might not be so great. i don't know. i suggested someting close to your budget that i have not heard ANYTHING negative about.

i don't kow what PCB that ram uses, but brainpowered is more voltage-friendly than JDEC standard. don't kow what revision chips that memory uses either.

i WILL say that when my PC3500 died, mushkin shipped me my current PC4400 via overnight courier, as an example of the warrenty service i was referring to.

international shipping, i'll add.

is this the ram you mention i had a wierd time trying to find it on new egg

also do you use this ram on a dfi ultra d board ?
i am running a totally different system from you. it's listed in my sig.

no, that is not the same ram. same company, similar parts, slightly different ratings.

slightly better price for that product than mushkin offers, though.

if you are browsing newegg, then i assume that you are living in the states, and you can therefore buy direct from mushkin about as easily as you can buy from newegg.

the price for the PC4400 from mushkin is slightly better than the newegg price for the 3200 rev 2, though.

if you buy directly from mushkin, you can tell them what system you have, and they will test the memory in a similar system at rated speeds and settings before shipping it out.

for example, when i got this 4400, i asked them to test it up to DDR550 in a s939 a64 rig, since that i what i kind of hope to upgrade to when i am able.

My OCZ 3200 VX does 275FSB (550MHz) @ 2-2-2-5,. You AMD system will benefit the most for low latency rather than higher speed loose latency memory.

ISLANG is there anyway you can post a link from newegg please for that OCZ stuff i hate the new egg advanced search crap !!!! lol

and thank you all for the help :)

the mushkin CAN do low latency. you want to compare to OCZ VX, then look at the PC3200 level 2 rev 2. it just costs more.
