Good monitor to compliment my 2209wa (in portrait)

I currently am sitting on two dell 2209wa monitors that I love. Nothing wrong with them except that I'm looking for a bit more real estate. Of course I could get a third (have a 5850) and run them in eyefinity. If I did, I'd run them all portrait which has it's drawbacks, (movies, games [too narrow in the middle IMO], and my layout for coding [which is by far the most important]). When deciding to make the jump on size I figured 30" would be best (almost the right dimensions to fit height in terms of physical and pixel size), just not sure what to get. The dell 3007wfp-hc caught my eye, but for the price I'm not too sure. I'd probably have to sell off one of the 2209s for price and because a 30" would require dual-dvi (then + displayport for the other monitor).
