Good mobo/cpu for $400.

Looks good, but only two SATA 6gb/s would scare me off on the motherboard but that's just personal preference.
 
It doesnt seem like a bad combo at all. Im only using 2 sata III on my board as well. one SSD and a 2tb storage drive to come. That should hold me over for a good bit.
 
I agree, that's a good choice and good price. Be aware of Newegg RMA dept bending socket pins though.

Many folks have had Newegg RMA techs destroy pins and then refuse RMA leaving you with a damaged board. I've been lucky and haven't had to RMA a motherboard with newegg for a long time.

You really don't need anything faster than 1600MHz if you were planning on something faster. Benchmarks show literally about 1% to 3% gain with 2133MHz RAM over 1600MHz.

If you don't like the color combination, I can understand, but hey it's a pretty good deal for the performance.
