good low profile CPU fans?

I have a silverstone HTPC chassis that I'm using the silverstone passive cpu nano-heat pipe thing (you can mount 60mm fans to the upper cooling fins, but I have two 80mm fans pulling air out of the chassis about an inch behind it) that is doing an OK job now that I have a 120mm fan pulling the chassis heat out of the top.

The setup I have is fine for a small overclock, like the P5NE bumped to a 300ish FSB. The temps at idle are in the mid to high 40s and still less than 60c at load.

I had this setup in an upright server chassis with the FSB bumped to 400mhz, running the ram at 800, and had about the same temps, but the HTPC sits in a closed cabinet with only a 4in gap at the top back for fresh air. Right now I've got the 400/800 back on and I'm running at the mid to high 50s at idle and mid 60s at load.

Can the C2D sustain those temps?

I have considered the Coolit contained cooling system as the clearance wouldn't be an issue then. Are there any GOOD lower profile fans that might get me through better until I try to liquid cool it?

*Edit* Just broke 10,000 in 3DMark06 for the first time. SLi for the Masses!!!, and with two BFG 7950gt cards, It only cost me less than $400.00 !!!

If you're so worried about temperatures, why not back off the OC a little? Seems like a more logical choice than spending more time and money.

You're asking that question on a HardOCP forum, in overclocking and Cooling thread?

That's like giving up...

Well, I'm going to try the arctic cooler 7 Pro. I may have to remove my 120 mm top fan to fit it, and will have to cover the hole. At least no one ever sees the top but me.

Cmon newegg, it's been two days already....;)

The AC7 Pro should do a good good but I would have looked into the Mini Ninja as well.

Arctic cooler is installed, and looks like I got back about 10c in temps, now I'm running mid to high 50s at load with the cabinet doors closed, OCed from 2.13ghz to 3.2, a dandy little OC if I do say so myself.

It gets down in the high 40s with the doors to the cabinet open, but with lil rugrats I can't have it open during the day, but since I don't game until they go to bed, I can have them open when I put the highest load on the System. This should be livable I will say though that the ASUS P5NE - Sli boards passive NBridge cooler will only allow you to install the Arctic cooler one way, it gets in the way otherwise

*Edit - its running about 60C while running orthos, I'm thinking thats probably going to be just fine, right?
