Good LCD for gaming?

The above is perfect for me, as i will be entering a college dorm soon and it has full HDTV capabilities, allowing me to hook all my consoles, DVD player, TV cable cord, and PC all into this one monitor. It will be a major space saver. My question is, is its response good enough? I havent kept up with LCD's lately, however i remember the horrible ghosting possible. Will this suffer? Thanks for all help.

We have been down this road so many times. First and foremost what you’re looking at is a TV, not a computer monitor. It will do double duty as a monitor and probably not look half bad for most applications.

If you could see that unit in action on HDTV and watch some sports you would find all sorts of “blocking” and “digital artifacts”. Knowing that, it’s doubtful it will game very well.

Home entertainment is not what Dell and Gateway do best. Give it a shot and see what YOU think.
