What's the best value for money keyboard and mouse going round? Cordless is nice, but not at the expence of performance. How's the logitech cordless MX Duo? THat's about my price range.
 
Love my mx duo, no lag in games and good battery life. Some bitch about the wieght but, since it weighs less than a pound........ (You get the point)
 
Unless you need cordless then i would suggest sticking with a corded mouse and keyboard.

I have the Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard and Logitech MX510 myself and i'd definitely recommend the two as an excellent combo.
 
Best kayboard I've owned in a long time is the MS Natural Elite. As for a mouse, I've always been a fan of Logitech models, and I really like the Cordless Click Plus.
 
I love all 5 sets of my MX Duo's....But I am waiting on the MX3100 coming out soon... :)

Excellent mouse, the only better mouse is the MX1000. I just went from MX700 to MX1000 and I love my MX1000.

For a KB, the Saitek Gamers' Keyboard is very nice, better key action than Logitech's stuff, plus the blue background lighting (which you can switch on and off) is reaaly cool looking.
 
To me, all cordless mice are awkwardly smooth save for the laser ones. The cursor could zip around pretty fast but its not accurate. I love my MS optical mouse designed by S+ARCK. Its so effortlessly smooth and stylish plus the blue stripe goes really well with the LED lights in my Wavemaster case. I picked it up from Microcenter for $13.99 with $5 rebate. It was simply a steal! I used an Inland black keyboard($3.99) first but since the color didn't match my Apple 23" cinema HD and the case, I swapped it to an I-Rocks Ultra-slim EL with blue illuminated keys. Well, it costed me $40 but its well worth the dough. Also have an Icemat version2 silver....its really really cool to the touch...Gees, i am happy...Sorry for my babbling, it's 4:15 now in the morning...

I'm also using the backlit Saitek Gamers keyboard and the MX700. The keyboard is very solid in feel and if you have a blue light setup in your case like I do it matches nicely. The attached game keypad really suppliments all the mouse buttons in games.

My combo is:
Mouse: MX510
Pad: Icemat black/Steelpad QcK
Keyboard: Logitech Elite
The mouse is very good for gaming, the pads are just awsome and the keyboard is also very nice.
 
How does this sound: MX510, Logitech Elite Corded keyboard. This costs as much as the MX Duo, which is same keyboard, MX700 instead of a MX510, and both are cordless. Which one.
