Hi everyone, I have to buy a new monitor and after a lot of reading (forums, reviews etc..) I'm still full of doubt...

I'll use it 80% for browsing and 20% gaming (I have a big lcd for movies) and I'm looking for the best IQ possible (I don't care if the lag it's a little high I'm no cod player)

I think the dell p2414h fit the bill but I'm really scared of the backlight bleeding problem...
I'm considering also the Benq bl2411pt, the opinions here are entusiastic but is it worth the 100€ difference with the dell? (p2414h 190€ bl2411pt 290€)

Feel free to reccomend me other displays too!

Thanks ;)

Either that Dell you mentioned or its cousin U2414H. I have not read anything about that particular Benq model though.

I'm really close to buy the Benq, but I heard it's not the best monitor to use in a completley dark room and I'll use it mostly at night... is it a big deal? is there someone who own the benq who can share his opinion?

The GW2450HM would be the best one in a completley dark room. Every IPS/PLS/TN Panels have 1000:1 contrast only VA Panels have 3000:1 or 5000:1 contrast that's way most LCD TV's have a VA Panel.
Office Work = IPS
Gaming = TN or IPS
Allrounder = VA

Yeah but I m talking with people who actually have the monitor and they say. That the ghosting is super bad even when scrolling a page... Maybe its a fault one but i dont want to risk ....you can even find videos on youtube about the ghosting of the gw2450.

Okay I'm close to pull the trigger on the Benq, one last doubt, the p2414h it's 100€ less, is the 1920x1200 and overall quality of the benq worth 100 bucks?
