Have you LCD owners used what I think is one of the best ghost test programs that is right under our noses ?

When you look at an LCD in a store, the easy test to run, that is also most of the time right there for you to use, is ???........Space Cadet pinball

It's right there under games on a WinXP installed computer and that pinball moving as fast as can be realy shows ghosting if it's there.

Some of you people with LCD's fire it up in full screen and post here how your LCD does. Post the model LCD you used....It's Just for fun I am just wondering how some of the more popular models do with it.

I have a KDS 25ms 15" LCD...so I am not going to even bother with the ghosting test.

If I type fast enough I can see ghosting on this thing.

l90D+ no ghosting...my test in stores is generally dealing a hand in spider solitaire

start run "dxdiag"

dispays tap, test direct draw. Bouncing white box on black background works like a champ.
Try direct draw too, the cube spins a bit faster, might be easier to notice.

Also lunch windows media player, go to my music -> samples there is some bethoven or something. Lunch it up, enable visualisation, choose battery and then whatever sub category you like.

OK, t10 has done his home work on this in store test thing.

Thank's t10, that's a few more things I can use when I look at LCD's in store.

In fact maybe this should be a "Ways I check for ghosting on LCD's in Stores" Thread.
