GOOD HSF for an AMD 3000+ on Neo

Want to great a HSF combo & was wondering if the MSI K8N Neo Platinum is roomy enough for an XP-120. Diefitnly trying to get the best thing that inst water cooling. Price is not an obstacle for me.

The XP120 will only fit on the K8N Neo 2 Platinum if you're not running any type of aftermarket cooler on your videocard. Basically anytype of heatpipe cooler on the video card will prevent the XP120 from fitting. If not, it works great!

Use the socket 754 Neo. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=13-130-457&DEPA=1. Not the Neo 2. But may be the same situation. Thx for the heads up. My card does uses an aftermarket HSF.

I got the stock HSF and it works pretty good..I lapped mine, don't know if it helped but it seemed as if it didn't hurt

One thing I noticed what helped the most w/the stock HSF is getting the heat off the HS. The actualy fan that comes with the HS seems to suck. Without my case fans I get like 41C idle and 52C load. With my case fans I get 34C idle and about 48C load.

that's with a 245 FSB OC
